WHAT IS KORFBALL PREMIER LEAGUE?

The Korfball Premier League is India's first professional korfball league and the country's first professional sport league where men and women compete together as one team, under the same rules, on the same court.

Founded in 2026, KPL was created to give India's korfball athletes a competitive professional platform, and to bring a sport built on genuine equality to a mainstream audience. With korfball already active across 26 Indian states and a national team that has competed on the world stage, KPL is the natural next step in India's korfball journey.

KPL Season 2026 features eight franchise teams from cities across India. Each team fields four men and four women. The prize pool is ₹25 lakhs. The mission is simple — build a league where talent is the only thing that matters.

OUR MISSION

We believe sport should be equal by design, not by exception. Korfball is not a modified sport where women play a reduced version of a men's game. It is a sport invented from day one on the principle that men and women play better together than apart. KPL exists to prove that principle on a professional stage in India.

Beyond the league itself, KPL is building a grassroots movement. We are working with schools, colleges, and state associations across India to grow korfball from a niche sport to a national conversation.

Ltd. He leads ventures across technology, media through Karoli Records, and consumer solutions with Mobi-Wash Products. He is also actively involved in Jansewa and the Bharat Vikas Foundation, contributing to social development and community welfare.
